Let’s face it, we all age, but that does not mean we sit back and watch. Get ready to crank up the collagen.

Ultherapy is FDA-cleared to lift the skin on the brow, neck, and under the chin, and improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage and has received the NewBeauty award for six consecutive years!

Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive Gold Standard treatment for up-lifting the skin on the neck, chin, and brow. This treatment has been well-established, performed over 1.5 million treatments worldwide (including celebrities), and is recognized by aesthetic experts as the Gold Standard for nonsurgical skin lifting and tightening. Ultherapy uses microfocused ultrasound to generate new collagen and elastin deep below the skin’s surface, which in turn lifts and tightens over time, without surgery or down time.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow. Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to go deeper than other non-invasive treatments for collagen stimulation as well as ultrasound imaging, ensuring that the treatment energy is delivered to where it benefits you most. The result is a jumpstart to your body’s own collagen production overtime (up to 6 months).

How Does Ultherapy Work?

Control Unit: A 27” touchscreen display supports visualization of target tissues during consultation, planning, and treatment. Ultherapy Amplify™ software is clinically proven to increase patient comfort without impacting efficacy.

How is Ultherapy different from other cosmetic procedures?

Ultherapy is a non-invasive aesthetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound to stimulate the formation of new collagen deep below the skin’s surface. The production of new collagen takes time, so results can become more apparent over 2 to 3 months, even up to 6 months. The procedure takes about 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the area treated, and there is no downtime afterward. It also is the only procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to actually see the layers of tissue targeted during the treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely where it will be most beneficial to you.

How long does the result last?

Since the procedure stimulates a person’s own collagen production, how long the results last depends on the individual. The treatment stimulates new collagen production on the inside, but the individual’s natural aging process will determine how long it will take to notice visible results on the outside.  Ultherapy’s results can be apparent within a few weeks, however, Your skin will continue to tighten and lift for several months after the treatment. We recommend allowing 3-6 months for maximum results. Before and after photos will be provided during your follow up appointment. Future touch-up treatments can help provide more correction and varies by individual.

Are there any side effects?

There may be a mild redness, tenderness, or bruising that typically resolves within 1-3 days following the treatment. Some patients may have slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are very mild and temporary.

How many treatments does it take?

The majority of patients only need 1 treatment; however, some may benefit from more than 1 treatment depending on how much skin laxity they have (mild, moderate or severe laxity) and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and the collagen building process. Follow-up Ultherapy treatments each year may help maintain results.

Does it hurt?

While comfort thresholds vary from patient to patient, you may experience a warm or tingling sensation beneath the surface of the skin. We take measures to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Before your treatment, we will prescribe a topical numbing cream to help reduce discomfort. We also advise you to take 800 mg of Advil, Motrin, or Ibuprofen, Tylenol one hour prior to procedure to help with the discomfort during the treatment.

Is Ultherapy safe?

Ultherapy is a proven treatment with a well-established safety profile. It is currently marketed worldwide in more than 75 countries, with over 1.5 million treatments performed globally to date. In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field of medicine for more than 50 years.

What does collagen do?

Collagen is a natural protein that gives skin its youthfulness by keeping it firm and toned. As we age, collagen breaks down, and the result is a loss of skin strength and elasticity.  Ultherapy uses microfocused ultrasound to generate a thermal effect under the skin. The thermal effect essentially stimulates the production of new collagen which in turn firs and tightens the skin.

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is safe for men and women of all ages (over the age of 18) as well safe for all skin tones. A good candidate for Ultherapy is someone with skin that has some degree of laxity, to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. Typically, those in their 30s and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates. (Severe laxity is not a good candidate for Ultherapy). While Ultherapy is not a replacement for a surgical facelift, there are many people who want some facial lifting without surgery.

** Ultherapy contraindications may apply – your provider will evaluate your skin and medical history to determine if these apply to you*
